Patience. At least for WaW's campaign. Those fools will be raining grenades all day on your ass. No lie. Black Ops has a much easier Veteran campaign. (Imo of course)

I do tend to respect peoples opinions, but if ANYONE disagrees with you on this point they are effing stupid. W@W was by far the hardest COD on Veteran. Black Ops was definitely one of the easiest.
But yeah, what everyone else said. Try to use cover, learn the positions of enemies, be prepared to die a lot. Save smokes (W@W) for when you absolutely need them. There is nothing worse than getting to a spot that would be a cakewalk with a smoke and you used them all up at the beginning of a level.
Black ops there were like two hard parts, one where you go down a hill and one in a hallway. I believe there are youtube vids of both those sections to at least give you an idea on how to do the area.

W@W is the hardest due mostly to the annoyingly unending spam of grenades that seem to be infinite. If not for the grenades then COD2 is hardest.

i do believe that is the part I am at.....and not even on veteran, lol!
