Overall, this is a great game. But with all games, I have a complaint or 2 + I know that I am not the only one.
Paying to come back - In every game you die. It just happens. It's part of the learning curve. Some people more than others. Even on easy games on the easy setting, you can die. I died once in this game by getting too close to the edge. Whoops, I didn't know. Then I had to pay for it. That was one of those "WTF?!?!" moments. It was also one of those "Did Cliffy B make this game?" It seems like the more you practice, the better you are the less you die. I can get along with that. But paying for it? Coal in your stocking!
No place to store your stuff - Give ma a locker. I really don't need a house, but I wouldn't turn down the chance to buy one. There are guns I want to get back to, or maybe (several times) I have picked up a weapon that is WAY too high for me to use right now, but I can later. I could resort to 'mule-ing.' It's where you go split screen for a moment or 2 with a second controller, you drop your stuff and your second player picks it up for storage. I have read in different forums that some players have 5-6 mules around. No thank you. Just give me a locker.
Something else that bugs me is not being able to sell my excess ammo. I don't use revolvers. I just don't. Why can't I sell that ammo? I just have to carry it around. Why? I am not going to use it. Well, ok, maybe sometime I may use it, just to bring my stats up, eventually. But, for right now, I want to sell it.

First aid packs, health kits, stim packs, whatever you want to call them, why don't they just kick in when I am bleeding out? I have them and I paid for them - sometimes I can even find them - why can't I access my backpack while I am bleeding out? That sux!!

Sneak - This would have been fun. There are so many times in this game that you (as a player) could have been sneaking around the bad guys and maybe do a 'silent kill' or sneak attack, with a bonus for clearing an entire area without detection. This is an RPG (sort of) and sneak could be an attribute that you could gain points on, just like the rest of the bonuses. Not all FPS's have to be 'go in guns blazing.' How about a silencer on my sniper rifle and another on my pistol?
This is just my opinion.

I still don't understand why people want to categorize this game as a RPG. It's a shooter with RPG elements. To be a RPG there needs to be some semblance of a coherent story line and that was my biggest beef with this abortion. You have this chick chirping in your ear the whole game, building up to an ending that was such a let down.

There was nothing in the vault but some squid monster! What the fuck?!! No special weapons, no butt load of cash, nothing. Worst video game ending... ever.

Not to mention that you had to go through all the same lame-ass missions again if you wanted to hit level 50. I downloaded the Zombie Island shit and that was it for me. I traded this game in a while back when I got BioShock 2.

That's why they made Crawmerax, lol. You should see some of the stuff he drops.

I personally liked the game, it was fun and fulfilled my need to kill things, it did however get very repetitive. I still think it's fun to play with friends and I hope they aren't making anymore DLC. I don't want to complete it again for a 4th time.

I forgot about the ending. THAT was a huge disappointment. I guess it was supposed to be a cliffhanger for the sequel...just a guess.
The squid-boss, whatever, he wasn't hard to kill. It was getting there that was the hard part. I was at level 37 and he didn't even get through my shield before he was dead. So, yes, it was a LAME ending.

Personally I absolutely hated Borderlands I played it for maybe an Hour at my friends house I don't remember what it was about but all I know is that I gave it a chance, I also hate people that compare this to Fallout3 when Fallout3 is clearly the winner (Well borderlands has MP but who cares...)

Haha who compares Borderlands to Fallout 3? They're nothing alike.

While I was playing Borderlands, I kept away from the water thinking that I will get a dose of radiation. In a lot of areas - scenery - they look the same.
