Ubisoft has inadvertently confirmed the next Assassin's Creed game Revelations, via a their Facebook page. Unfortunately, they immediately pulled off of their page along with their teaser trailer. There is supposed to be a full spread story appearing in next months issue of Game Informer.

from what i have seen/read Altaïr is getting a 'brotherhood' treatment i hope not because Ezio is better and i would really like an AC3 with new assassin new story new everything.

OUt of the three the first game is still my favorite.
You were actually hunting your targets and felt like an assassin. Looking for clues, getting maps.. etc. I beat that game 3 times, 1000k, and all the flags. And i plan to beat it a fourth time.
Altair beats Ezio at least 4 times over.

your right but to me it would just be odd if the story line goes back to altair. I really dont have a problem with it but i just hope there is a big improvement from AC1 maybe they can pick up on the story when altair got the apple back and what he did with it.

I heard somewhere the installment after this is going to be called assassins creed 3. Meaning a new assassin.
