Yeah, a fix is needed badly. My great findings among the urban dictionary are usually cut short by getting kicked.

I would also like to note, that in addition to getting dropped every minute or so, the chat log also disappears without dropping people...

Okay, I've put the chat room on my list of things to fix... but it's going to require a rewrite. I might have to do away with some of its features, but at least you'll be capable of chatting without lag.
