Man i have been waiting for AVP to come out for like forever, now get this, Gamestop gets the game in today, BUT not the collector's edition until tomorrow, how does that work, it seems to me the people who are diehard AVP fans should have been taken care of first after all they spent the extra $40 for the Hunter Edition and all. Guess its a good thing i had my xbox america event set up for 8p.m. Wednesday instead of tonight! Anyways anyone else who thinks this is total bullshit let me know.

I agree with you. If you are diehard fan with AVP. If I pre-order speical Edition I should get it on release day bc pay extra money. It wouldn't be fair.

eh, if you are indeed a diehard fan, just wait the extra day, it seriously won't kill you. find something else to entertain yourself for an extra day lol. trust me, i'm a diehard Splinter Cell fan, and i haven't been angry at any of the delays. they actually worked in my favor if anything because if it were to be released on 2/23/10, i may not have had the money to dish out for the Collector's Edition xD
but as for Gamestop's BS, yeah, it can get ridiculous at times. though i won't stop going there just because they may or may not have honestly forgot about your pre-order bonus. it might have been an honest mistake (just a possibility, so don't attack me lol). i didn't get my special UMD case when i picked up my pre-ordered FFVII Crisis Core, i didn't realize it until i got home so i went back and asked but they couldn't do anything about it. i was irritated for about an hour about it but hey, learn from your mistake and next time, remember what you're supposed to get and ask if you don't get it. if they still refuse, raise hell

^lol but why does it matter if the employees are gamers or not? they sell games and you as a gamer buy them; you should know enough about the games you're buying without having to ask the workers about anything game related

I know that is what ticks me off I know more about games than they do.I saw like a 10-11 year old boy with his dad, and they had bought Tony Hawk ride.The game is junk the threw it together in a month they even said it at E3 09, however this wack lady was telling them that they tested it for years,etc.She also went on to say she enjoyed reading reviews an stuff.lol

ahahaha. ok, that's dumb if the employee lied just to sell the game. i mean, i'd be fine if she said that she doesn't know much about the game so she can't help out, but that's ridiculous xD
and i suppose MS overlooked the fact that minors can buy M rated games on the marketplace. but that's really something that can't be controlled to be honest... that's up to the parents whether they watch what their kids do/buy gamewise, if they're irresponsible enough to not know the content their children are viewing/playing, that's a personal issue. watch your minors play games or something. and if we're talking about teens here (ages 13-17), then it's not like it really matters, kids these days are stupid to begin with and are exposed to the kind of stuff M rated games have through other mediums anyways lol
