How come sniper like the the barret seem to do more dps without acog? i like acog on my snipers but the damage is bad with acog?

I haven't had any problems with this other than the accuracy being dumb when its on top of some1 and doesnt record as a hit

I have found that using the ACOG actually diminishes your accuracy when you use it on a sniper rifle. You can't zoom as much and the scope wobbles a bit making it difficult to control. You can't hold your breath while using the ACOG either. On anything else they work pretty well.

Yea, that's the whole point. It's just for a quick scope, not really meant for long range and actually GREATLY reduces your field of vision... Personally, I loved the acog in CoD4 on the R700 and M40, the acogs in MW2 just look like shit

First off, please be more specific about what your post is about.
As for sniping in MW2, I don't dig as much as I did in MW1. Snipers were the only guns I used in MW1, maybe because had more open spaces. MW2 uses much more cover and foliage in their maps and its a lot harder to pick off people, in my opinion at least. I'll just stick with Assault rifles with acog scopes thank you very much.

Im dont realy like the sniper rifles in MW2 do to the fact that the accuracy is way deminished. Its alot harder to get head shots unless your within the 100yrd range.

The ACOG scope works pretty well when I put it on the M-16 or the FAMAS.
