I doubt they will quit making games. Sure they are affected by the economy in all that. But they are a big Company...so that just means they break off their weak links to save money. San Francisco must be that weak link. Like Mudkip said...they are just making a game off a summer block buster. They are not the heart of sega.

I hate to see anyone lose their jobs, but with the lousy games Sega has churned out the last few years is anyone really surprised?

Couldn't agree more! I just avoided the latest sonics as they were reviewed so poorly. I played Golden Compass, Iron Man, and Hulk for achievements, all of them were subpar.
I was a big genesis/megadrive fan (even had a Sega CD) and I hate to see Sega have sunk so low. They should do some more compilations of their classic games. It's a license for them to print money.
