Rumored Shut downs

According to activision two games might been getting closed

Red dead redemption
COD Black ops

Both are having major server problems

And red dead just got a permanent 3x xp till shutdown. Might be closer then we think.

They problem won;t and i haven't found anything concrete. I just thought i should warn you guys.

are they talking permanent closures? Because thats definitely gonna suck, and I've got so many achievements to get for RDR

I agree it would be stupid. That is why they are no concrete evidence. But the 3xp for red dead makes you wonder. And since a lot of people hear love those games and like achievements i thought it was relevant to say.

shutting down blops, but not cod4, cod3, w@w, nor mw2? i KINDA doubt that...i mean, if they wont shut down the servers for cod3, of all cods, why would they do blops? that just makes no sense at all....

Aren't COD2's servers still up as well?

Yeah, they are. Which makes it HIGHLY doubtful that Blak Ops and RDR would shut down.

oh yea, cod2 as well. i forgot it had a multiplayer honestly xD

so that makes it even LESS likely that blops or rdr would shut down. cod2 is still up for christs sake!

Yeah, they shut these down, after the new map pack in B Ops and all, and they would be blacklisted by almost every gamer in the world. lol.

activision cant shut down rdr servers, they dont even fuckin own the game.

I wouldn't call anything on wikipedia 'pure evidence' seeing as how anyone can go in and make a change.

But I don't see this happening. I am getting rid of Black Ops when I go to gamestop next, though. So if it did happen, it wouldn't bother me.

you realize wikipedia has thousands of workers constantly checking info to make sure its correct and factual, right? so you cant just be like "oh, you can edit it, so it musnt be true!" when they have people whos job it is to make sure its true/correct. also, this is about a video game. why WOULDNT it be correct?
