Finally, some DLC worth buying!
Rolling Stone has confirmed a rumor we've heard not too long ago about seeing much more Jimi Hendrix in Rock Band. Coming next week (seriously), Jimi's full album "Axis: Bold as Love" will be hitting Rock Band as DLC, along with a previously unreleased track "Valleys of Neptune," which will be the title track from a NEW Jimi Hendrix album. Harmonix has an exclusive agreement with the Hendrix estate to release his other studio albums as DLC in the future, in addition to an inclusion of a Jimi Hendrix in-game avatar, replica instruments, and according to Rolling Stone, potentially a Jimi Hendrix: Rock Band standalone title.
The specific tracks being released include:
* "Up From the Skies"
* "Spanish Castle Magic"*
* "Wait Until Tomorrow"*
* "Ain't No Telling"*
* "Little Wing"*
* "If 6 Was 9"*
* "You Got Me Floatin'"*
* "Castles Made of Sand"*

I really hope they give us Electric Ladyland next. Ladyland will always be my favorite Hendrix album.
