Rock Band DLC 4/27 (Flyleaf, Busted, and Silverchair)

This week we have three singles from the band Busted, Flyleaf, and Silverchair (NOT the Jane's Addiction album

)

Busted – “Thunderbirds Are Go!” -- 160MSP
Flyleaf – “Again” -- 160MSP
Silverchair – “Tomorrow” -- 160MSP

Won't be getting any of these. Surprised there's only three songs this week, but hey, at least we get DLC.

Wow, what a waste of a week. Why can't they put a little work into some more Beatles dlc? It seems to me that Harmonix is pooping in the tub on more Beatles and classic rock dlc for RB2 cause they don't like working with old masters. Most of the classic rock we've got in the last year is re-recordings and aside from Walk Away from Joe Walsh and Jame's Gang and the Spinal Tap not many have been anything worth writing home about.

Yeah I'm with Rob on this one. There's probably a lot of songs that they're saving for on-disc stuff for RB3 (which I cannot wait for

). I wish we could get some more classic rock as well. Rush is a necessity, as is Led Zeppelin but unfortunately I don't think they will ever agree to licensing their music to a video game. Which is too bad, because Led Zeppelin: Rock Band was be completely insane and awesome in every way.

Saving songs for RB3 Irish.

Are they really using that as an excuse? That's pretty weak. Do they wanna make money now or wait till the holidays? There's soooo much great shit out there that there's no reason why we shouldn't see some worthwhile dlc every two or three weeks. Not once a month if we're lucky like it's been here for a while now.

You gotta understand though they will make way more money off of RB3 than they ever will from DLC. Besides if they did release great music now for RB2 it would most likely leave RB3 empty and a waste of time.

I don't know man. Don't you think they could set aside whatever they want to put on RB3 and still offer some consistently decent dlc? And one would think that in this stage of the game that they're making most of their bank off the dlc and that most people who play the games will more likely just be getting the disc for RB3, not wanting to shell out for another bundle.

Yes but Irish you must remember that "decent" is relative to whoever is speaking. Harmonix tries to bring a little of everything to make everyone happy, and I think they do a pretty good job with their DLC.
