okay, im well aware this is a xbox site, save the heat. this is just to PS3 users who are currently playing Resistance 3. if you are wondering how you get some of your characters, it's through myresistance.net. there is an MMORTS type browser game called "Global Resistance". its pretty much Chimera vs. Humans for global domination. you level up, get unlocks, get accolades and badges, send troops to fight certain areas of the world, gain control of countries, etc. you characters/titles for the Resistance 3 game come from playing Global Resistance and just signing up for the site in general. i dont even play Resistance, and the only reason ive been playing Global Resistance is for my friend. but i must say, it's addictive as hell. and it's constantly going. so even if you sign off, the tide of war could change hands over night.

Don't let partisan politics blind to the greatness of R3. Truly, this is one of the most wasted exclusives on that "other" console. The response to this exclusive by that consoles faithful has been abysmal; this game would have sold more copies the first day of release on the 360, than it has, so far, on the PS3. That's sad, really sad, for the single player campaign is little short of Gears quality. No wonder it's makers have decided to go multi-platform with their next creation.
