i just picked up my copy of Reach, and already im having problems. 2 of my achieves, the supercombine explosion and the killionaire in firefight wont unlock. it also didnt want to give me the DMR achievement for the longest. so i was just wondering who else is having these problems.

You should be able to get them I did with no problems and the correct number of kills for each. When you are going for the explosion are you in fact killing them with the explosion and not beforehand? Sometimes others will also get the kill teammates can be a pain on occasion. As far as the Killionaire cheevo it is easiest on the bonus round with nothing but grunts flooding the map.

no, you dont understand. i have gotten the killionaire 3 times now in firefight, using the target locater. and ive killed god knows how many with the supercombine. i see the explosion, and even on firefight it gives me the emblem. so i dont know wtf is up.....

Supercombine - I was beginning to think it was glitched too...then I got it yesterday. You have to get 10 supercombine medals in one FF game. I found that going into score attack and selecting sniper fight was the best method. Any weapon you pick up will have unlimited ammo....so pick up a needler from one of the grunts and keep it handy. It's hard to get supercombines during the early rounds so snipe away until the round where the brutes spawn..then light em up with the needler. When you get the 10th supercombine medal, *blip*...pop goes the achievement.
Killionaire - Download the variant from my fileshare, play normally until the bonus round then go crazy. You'll get it easily.

Here's a tip that may already be common knowledge...not sure. Sprinting while in the air greatly reduces fall damage, allowing you to live through falls that would normally kill you. It also gives you more distance on your jumps.
After last night I am now a fucking authority on sprint jumping off of cliffs. I spent 3 solid hours working on a single achievement and experienced almost every single thing that can be experienced when sprinting off of a cliff..lol
In the Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunter video below, Geoff explains how sprinting in the air relieves fall damage and that you need to jump off of the cliff, then cancel the sprint in mid-air, then fall and grab the assassination. Sounds easy, right? Well, it's not. Some folks may get lucky and nail it pretty quick but for most this is going to require some patience. The problem is that you can't jump far enough to get to the elite if you cancel the sprint as soon as you jump...so you sprint off of the cliff...get the distance you need...cancel the sprint...fall onto the elite (hoping he hasn't moved by then <_< ) and perform the assassination animation. The whole process takes between 10 and 45 seconds per attempt, depending on how long you have to wait for the elite to get in position (varies), which means it took me roughly 250 attempts to finally get the goddamn thing :lol:
Something would go wrong almost every time. The elite would move, I wouldn't get enough distance, I'd get too much distance, I'd mis-time the assassination, or the worst thing would happen...I'd nail it and the achievement wouldn't pop, meaning that I held the sprint button just a tad too long. I hope all of you have better luck than I did!

i've done it close to 50 times with the campaign, the supercombine kills i mean, and i spent and ENTIRE firefight match, 1 1/2 hours with killing EVERYTHING with an unlimited ammo needler. fucking bullshit man (although i did gain 2 levels :3)

If it's not working using the needler try using the needle rifle, I got my achieve using the needle rifle playing coop campaign with a friend, seems like it must be done in one single level when playin campaign though.
