I too have been thinking about getting a new headset but I wouldn't be
looking to spend more than 100-120.

I think I'm just gonna wait for the new bluetooth 360 headset this holiday since I've had the same wireless 360 headset for over 2 years and it still works perfect and holds a good charge and was only 60 bucks.

Yeah, I still have one of the older white ones but would want to get something like the Turtle Beaches with the big stereo headphones or "cans" cause I tend to do most my gaming late at night while wearing headphones anyway. I've just been using my Ipod buds.

Whatever you do stay away from Tritton!!
I bought the AX180's and the microphone never worked properly, the headset part is fantastic, but the microphone quality is piss poor.

I've had my Tritton 720s for 9 months now and they've worked perfectly. They aren't wireless, but I love them.
I can't speak for TB, since I've never even tried them out, though.

I had TB X-41's and the audio quality was really poor. Returned them because the speakers sounded like they were shot only to find my new pair doing the same thing..... Went back to the old XBL starter headset

I have the Turtle Beach X31's for about 2 years now. I love them! They have great sound. It's great for online multi like COD. You can hear which direction the footsteps are coming from. Just make sure you've got a good stock of AAA batteries if you game a lot.

I know its quite high but I want to use them for more then just xbox. I plan to use them on Xbox, PC, PS3 and for watching movies and such when I cant have my TV volume too loud. And I have also learned that you get what you pay for so I really dont want to spend like $100 for some shitty headphones. I'd much rather pay $300 for something that will last me for a few decent years of use.

I have Turtle Beach X11, granted they are not wireless, but I love them. I can turn the tv itself down all the way and listen to the sound thru the headset.
