QUESTION About Buy 2 Get 1 Free at Gamestop

I know that there are quite a few members of this site that work at Gamestop and I was just wondering if one of them (or anyone else) knows when Gamestop will run this sale again. I wasn't sure if it was something that someone would know about well in advance or if they don't release that info until very close to sale time.

I'm just curious because I have some gift cards for Gamestop and was looking to get maximum value out of them.

Thanks for any info anyone has.

Usually a couple weeks..or even DAYS in advanced they have signs out from of there window and door...At least thats how the Gamestop around me does it. If the employees that work here can't help you, I would just suggest that you keep a look out at the store windows.

They have a new program set up at Gamestop now. It is basically the same as what they have before with the Edge cards only it's now a rewards program as well. If you already have an Edge card, they will upgrade you to the program. Activate the account online and not only do you get 750 rewards points easily, but one of their first things is to send you a coupon for Buy 2 get 1 Free.

Yeah, we are gonna be doing the Power Up Rewards Card, which was previously known as the EDGE card.

It basically has the same perks as the prior EDGE card, but you earn points when you pre-order, purchase used games and accessories and so on. You can redeem these points online, and get other cool product. You will also receive special coupons, and yes the first coupon is the Buy 2 Get 1 Free.

You can get a free basic membership with no point system attached and no subscription to Game informer, or still get the Pro, for $14.99 which includes all the goodies and all.

it set to roll out mid to late October (this month) but I will update when it does.

But as to answer the first question, we find out promotions typically the week before and so it is never a set thing on a calender, otherwise, I would have spilled the beans already, lol.

As a matter of fact it does, I just switched mine over yesterday. The new cards are pretty slick too.

Yeah, you will be automatically upgraded if you already subscribe to the EDGE card. As soon as my store starts getting the new cards and so on, I will hit you up and tell you to come in, to get the new hawtness.
