Portal 2 FTW!

FTW = For the Wife (not win)
A first in our home last night...put the boy to bed and I started playing some NBA 2K11. My wife has been doing Portal 2 co-op with me the last few days and told me to turn off 2K11 and play Portal 2 with her instead. Groundbreaking development here my friends....my wife doesn't ask me to turn off a video game just so she can play a different one!
Playing with her is a bit hilarious though...she is VERY good at solving the puzzles and knowing what to do and when etc...after a few levels she was starting to figure some out faster than me (even though she never played Portal 1). The problem is she isn't a gamer so she can't aim, walk, etc...correctly. I will be walking across a light bridge behind her and watch her slowly veer left and walk off into the toxic waste and die.
She can't handle the gun being on the right side of the screen...she keeps turning slightly left to try and get it in the middle and walks off edges etc. Cracks me up.
Anyways, long post just to sum up that my wife actually found a game she likes besides Dance Central.

yes its both on and offline coop
can't wait to get it, anyone wanna do the coop achievements? you need 3 people to get all of them

One of the co-op achievements requires you to play with someone who has never played before...so you may need more than 3...or just a new person who doesn't care about not getting that achievement.

As for the achievement for someone who has never played, I believe there is a free gold weekend coming up, so silver accounts are good to go should you have a backup account.
Failing that, I believe brand new accounts still get a free month of gold, so make a new account and be sure to assign it a birthday that is at least 18! (I forgot about that once! lol)

I think I'll be waiting a bit to get this. Give some people time to go through and post some online guides. I liked the first Portal but it would've taken me forever to figure out some of the later rooms and how to find GLADoS without someone's youtube guide.

Good...then once I have my legit copy I can get the achievement for helping a noob (you!).
