Gotta be a little more specific than that, I'm assuming you mean the perks in Modern Warfare 2's online?

yeah sitrep does suck. but i still think last stands worse. I've been the last kill so many times because of it. but sitrep has saved me on CTF, DOMINATION AND HQ A LOT.

I haven't seen Martyrdom mentioned yet. I've been using it lately because I get knifed so often. It's pretty frustrating because I'm fairly new to the game and I'm trying to learn but getting killed so often makes it difficult. Martyrdom helps me get a little revenge when I'm trying to set up a shot and some jerk knifes me in the back.
Subquestion: Does anyone thing a "New Players" multiplayer match setup would be useful? For players under a certain level, maybe. I learn alot from the players hat are so much higher in level than I am, but it's also an unfair advantage sometimes.

Try playing team tactical or cage match until you get a little better with controls and maps that way there aren't many people to worry about killing you.
Just some helpful advice.

I'm not that fond of the death streak perks. Final stand is much more useful than the others.

I use Scrambler Pro for CTF instead of SitRep, since with SitRep, you're only looking for claymores usually, I mean who uses C4?
But, with Scrambler Pro, I can just run and delay the explosion for about five seconds....
