I haven't had one of these moments in a while. I'd say 100% on Orange Box, the last achievement on Hexic, and finishing Peggle are my all time moments!

i know what you mean lol. i gave up on AC1's collection achievements. good thing AC2 has less collecting so i 1000'd that game easy xD

if you just do it systematically it isnt THAT bad... still a little time consuming though. i ended up beating the game three and a half times before i finally 1k'd it because it was either deleted before i got all the flags or because i missed a convo with lucy

well, yeah if you use a map, then it's not THAT bad, but just the sheer size/amount of it was kinda overwhelming. in fact, it was overwhelming enough to make me give up since i collected a few random oness already as i played through the game, and i wasn't going to start another playthrough xD

yeah what i did was i started a new game, and every time i went to a new section of a city the first thing i did was grab the 33 flags or so and kill all the Templars in the area. and of course i used a map to help me or id have been screwed

I haven't had one for a while, but one that really sticks out for me was getting past the heli that's shooting at you on the Hunted level of CoD 4 on Veteran. I would try to get past it, then give up after about twenty times dying, then play other games for a few days and try (and fail) another twenty times and repeat that cycle over and over, until I finally used the video on NextGenWalkthroughs after about six to eight months of not being able to get past it.
