"Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has just announced another entry in the ever expanding Lord of the Rings universe with co-op action RPG title "War in the North".
Presumably we'll be travelling to the northern reaches of Middle Earth rather than Grimsby for the new game, which draws its inspiration from both J.R.R Tolkien's massive tome and the epic movie trilogy.
Supporting three-players for co-op battling, War in the North will send you north (obviously) to face Sauron's northern forces, who presumably drink pints of mild and work down t'pit (we're seriously flogging this rubbish joke to death).
"With The Lord of the Rings: War in the North we are taking a mature approach to the widely celebrated property with authentic portrayals of battles and all new storylines," said Martin Tremblay, WBIE President. "Utilising the award-winning and passionate development team at Snowblind Studios, we are looking to evolve the RPG experience and deliver The Lord of the Rings game fans have been waiting for."

Interesting idea, the 3 player coop sounds like it could be very fun if they get this right.
