I look on other sites see many news everyday. So why not increase the Ron Burgundy awards, This user has written 50+ published Xbox America news articles. I would like to see more people write new for Xbox America. Not much people write new on this site. What do you guys think?

Honestly I would be against it. I'm sure I'd get it but then we'd see even more things trying to be published just for an award. There are still plenty of articles that get rejected....

i do agree that there isn't all that much new news on the site. but truthfully, most of the sites you're probably looking at have all this new news because they have 209348230 times the # of active members, and they probably have plenty of people who get "inside looks"on stuff so they can write about it before anybody else

In addition, their 'news' is probably deals and shit from the dashboard and other sales found elsewhere, we already have a couple new threads everyday for these deals. We definitely don't need them cluttering up the news section on the homepage.
