Max Payne 3 Season Pass and DLC Revealed
Plans for a season pass for Max Payne 3, similar to L.A. Noire's, was outlined today by Rockstar, along with the DLC release schedule. That's right, be prepared to delve into Max Payne 3 in just two short weeks, and know that it doesn't end any time soon!
Rockstar has teased that the DLC and multiplayer will include new maps, modes, items, challenges, playable characters and more. The first of this series of DLC will be available startin next month, and will continue through summer, up until Fall. Rockstar Founder Sam Houser has been quoted as saying that Max Payne 3 has "...the deepest multiplayer experience we've ever created...We intend to support the Max Payne community with new and innovative content well into the future."
The Rockstar Pass for all of Max's DLC will run you 2400 Microsoft Points, which equals a 35% discount over buying the DLC individually. The pass can also be pre-ordered from Best Buy and Gamestop starting today, so you can ensure that you'll have access to the latest content as its released.
'Local Justice' will be the first map pack to release for Max Payne 3, adding the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes, as well as bringing an additional two maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer. There'll also be new precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items, multiplayer challenges and more.
You can pre-order the Max Payne 3 Rockstar DLC Pass from Best Buy and GameStop in the US, gaining access to all of the planned Max Payne 3 add-ons listed below. The Rockstar DLC Pass for Max Payne 3 will cost 2400 Microsoft Points, which is a 35% discount over purchasing each add-on pack separately.
