Capcom Will Sell "Lost Planet 2" for Xbox Console in May

Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Capcom Co., the Japanese publisher of the "Resident Evil" movie and game series, will sell the "Lost Planet" title for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 console globally from May.

The game will go on sale in the U.S. and Europe on May 18, and in Japan two days later, the Osaka-based company said in a statement today.

The company's "Lost Planet" franchise, comprising seven titles, sold a total of 2.7 million units worldwide, Capcom said on its Web site.
