How well does the kinect suppose to work? For example, does waving sometimes not register? And when I swipe does it sometimes go the wrong way? I guess what I'm saying is, does the kinect work perfect or does these problems exist. Does sitting down and standing matter? Cause most of the problems occur while sitting. I bought a used one and I don't know if its broken or if this is the way kinect is. Thanks

I found that it would work a bit wonky every now and then. Part of my problems had to do with the lighting (it was behind me) and sometimes needing to recalibrate the Kinect.
If you've done both I would think that numerous problems equals a faulty sensor bud, sorry

I found lighting and needing to stand more made a difference. Do u have enough space? That Nyko Zoom for Kinect has been getting good reviews if u don't have a lot of room.
