Kinect connection issue
12/22/12 12:11 pm | #1
I have an older xbox 360 (2 actually) and a friend just gave me his Kinect (he doesn't want it back) but he has the newer slim model of the xbox 360. The Kinect fitting he gave me won't fit into the front port - is there a connector I am missing or do I have to buy an extension of sorts?

You have to buy a power adapter for it. Gamestop sells them:
Kinect Power Adapter $29.99

If you want to save $30 I'll send you my adapter for nothing. I'm not using it & it's been sitting in the box since I bought my Kinect (unless AJ used it when he had my Kinect). Other than that it's never been touched.
