To use my old A/V cables from my Elite console, on my Gears 3 Slim console?
The new A/V cables that came with my Gears xbox are worthless, just standard Red, White, Yellow.
My old A/V cable has the switch to use HD or standard and have the Red, White, Yellow along with Green, Blue, Red.
My reason for asking is because, I know that power cords can't be used for different consoles (other than the ones they were made for), but does it matter if I use the old A/V cables? I wouldn't think so, but you never know. I tested it out, and it works fine. But, do you think it will be ok to use in the long run?
