if you are talking about the 30 years of dynasty, then yes you can just sim all of it. The pain in the ass is you have to sit there the whole time & keep pressing A for the stuff that comes up every minute or so. You can also win the super bowl this way, but it is only by chance that it will happen.
EDIT: note that it takes about 2-3 hours to sim the whole dynastty so get comfortable!
