i been haveing this problem with my dashboard and mini dashboard. After i while of playing my gamerscore and gamer pic will go blank the only way it comes back if i sign out and sign back in but the problem still comes back about a hour later any ideas?

It may be dusty inside your Xbox. What I use is a can of air, such as a compressed gas duster. I always spray it inside the disk drive to clear up everything.
Well, I wouldn't worry to much. I mean as long you can see your gamer score and gamer picture on XBA, it's no big deal. However, if eventually more things go wrong with your Xbox, it's clear something is definitely going on.

Try this because it really gets dusty inside my xbox. I dust it out about once a month, or if you have an air compressor use that just be careful when using it though because the pressure in that is a lot harder than a little can of air...
