Still nothing from EA.
Here's a response sent 5 days after the promised "we'll get back to you in 24 hours" response.

I'm not sure how they consider the first contact with me as a "Greetings Again", the only other contact was the automated response to assure me they would address my issue within 24 hours. This message was posted 5 days after the fact and I've still not heard anything from them. The help page I can access via my EA account states that my question was updated 05 MAY at 0108 (thats 1:08am for those of you who don't habla). But this is 2 weeks since I submitted that letter, so time frames are clearly not a specialty of EA.
Thoughts thus far:
Yes, it was a waste of time and energy.
Yes, everyone and their brother are correct in the belief that EA cares nothing about the individual user's experience with their games or content.
No, EA does not have a functional customer service department.
Yes, I will be very hesistant to purchase any games or content from EA in the future, new or used.
DICE has not responded, but they sent a message initially stating they would not be able to respond in a reasonable amount of time.
Oddly enough, I did play this game again the other night and I got the same "Your recent form has degraded your skill level..." message. This time it took me from a skill level of 163 down to 141. I was pissed the first time, but now I don't even care. It's just some typical EA BS right...
