Right, now I'm playing Half Life 2 on the Orange Box but I'm stuck on this one part of Route Kanal that's driving me nuts. In the sewers, you drop down through a vent into a room full of explosive barrels and a bunch of those security bots swarm you. I blow up the barrels taking care of the bots and then can't figure out how to get the fuck out of there. 
There's a ladder in the middle of the room. You can either climb up and walk on a pipe over to a cat-walk but that just leads to a dead end room where you find a crate with supplies or you can go down the ladder into some water below and there's a big pipe with a red glow to it but I can't jump to it.

. That site helped me out so much for that damn game. Especially when I was try to go for Little Rocket Man... I never got it because I lost the little fucker somewhere along the way and could not be asked to do that again!
