I have seen a lot of people complain because in the beginning they said to change their gamertag they had to start all over, so their tags don't say 10 years.

I don't think this is going to be something that happens to everyone when they hit 10 years- it's just that the 10 year anniversary of live is today, so they're rewarding their day 1 subscribers. It's definitely a nice gesture, though.



I was around the same age as you when the service started on the first Xbox. I started playing about a month after LIVE started but I switched accounts because my buddies dad paid for my first one. :p

Thanks for the dets I've been waiting to see the hdd size. Lots of people hate the deco, but I'd love it ; mostly because I need an update. But since I didn't get an xbox until like a year or two before the 360,no chance. There are deals we all can get though.

I was thinking more about this today and 10 years ago I was living in the UK and US. Doing a bunch of traveling between the two every couple of months. I sorta remember being in the LIVE beta test group, but only got to play when I was in the US. UK didn't have cable modems only ADSL at the time.

Yeah I remember MechAssault was the first game I had for xbox...I didn't have internet bcuz cable internet ended about 10 ft before my driveway. So I had to take my Xbox to my friends house down the road to play online and download content for MechAssault...seems like forever ago
