Though I'm still trying to finish the first one... I negelected it after not being able to get Shale in my party after about 50 tries...
I finally was able to it again after a long hiatous from the game and am now stuck at the top of the Mage Tower... yay!

lolol if you get stuck in the game you either suck or youre playing as a mage
i loved the first one. i wasnt the biggest fan of playing as a mage tho...maybe it was cause it was my first play through, or maybe its because i was a mage, but good god did i get my ass kicked a lot...i had pretty decent/even strength/magic so i mean that wasnt really the issue (tho maybe my lack of constitution had something to do w/ it) but i mean on my rogue/warrior classes i like NEVER die xD which i dont get. either i know what im doing or theyre better for winning battles lol
hopefully this isnt a pc only demo...that would make me sad

the mage story....ehhh, not really much of a fan of it. i mean playing as a mage is fun but the origin story is stupid as hell. fuck jowan, that lying whore

and then in the final battle (facing the generals n archdemon n shit) everybody else would ALWAYS die, no matter how many revivals or group heals or anything i did. we always died. now, on my rogue/warrior playthroughs, ive used

alistair or shale (warrior, usually shale after i get her. alistair isnt badass so hes not as cool)
leliana (rogue, to pick locks n shit)
and we almost NEVER die. idk what it is, but the just rarely die.
my fave class tho, is my rogue elf. oh god. what a boss. i got the warden commander armor on him from playing soldiers peak...god do i look like a badass w/ my characters face and that armor. i like cailans from the bann lorrens thing n all, but the warden commander is better. hell, felons coat is better (but its fucking glorious)
