DICE and EA today unveiled one of their two secret multiplayer modes for their March bound title, Bad Company 2, and it's quite simply, "squad deathmatch."

Squad deathmatch pits 4 squads of 4 against one another in the hunt for 50 kills. It's as simple as that. Check out the trailer below as Bad Company 2 Producer, Patrick Back, runs us through it.

The two previously announced multiplayer modes include "Conquest" and "Rush" from Bad Company 1. The fourth is still a mystery.

I loved BFBC and I can't wait for BFBC 2, and when I heard this I was stocked so I figured I would share.

That's the one area that I found lacking in the first Bad Company; the fact that there was only two multiplayer game modes. This sounds like it could be a blast. It'll be nice to have something else to play besides conquest and gold rush. So there will be 4th game type that they haven't announced yet?
