Empty your cache and then go to the personal messenger in the User CP. There should be a red link on the right that will let you delete all your messages now.

Yeah. Even if you don't empty your cache, it'll be there. The link just won't by stylized or formatted correctly until you download a new stylesheet by either refreshing the user cp or emptying your cache.
