Deadmau5: For Lack of a Better Name review

this is my first ever Techno album review!!!!!!!!! woot!!! anyway, Deadmau5 (born in Canada as Joel Zimmerman, most well know for his work with Daft Punk in their earlier years) released "For Lack of a Better Name" in 2009, and immediately hit success with the first two singles, Ghosts n Stuff and Moar Ghosts n Stuff. Deadmau5 is considered House Electronica. let me explain, House means that there is no singing. period. he is also considered borderline Progressive Trance. Progressive meaning "a forerunner for his genre" and Trance meaning "psychodelic". a very powerful Progressive House Trance is formed here(made up word. ^_^). i listen to Deadmau5 on a regular basis and i was very pleased with this album, and he does have more, but this is the only one i own. honestly, if you just want work music(like typing a paper for class, writing an article for XBA, or just chillen in a room with black lights) i'd recommend listening to deadmau5. and yes, playing this music wearing all black but with white gloves, glowsticks, and black lights is fun as all get out. with the constant beat of ""The 16th Hour" or the very mellow "Strobe" this is a fun album. it gets a 4/5. also, Deadmau5 is on tour. follow him on last.fm, or just go to his site. http://www.deadmau5.com listen to some of his music there, pick up an album possibly, or even head to the iphone app store and buy his beat mixing app. its pretty fracken sweet. oh! and for people who dont understand his name, its pronounced, "dead mouse". if you ever see him live, you'll understand(he wears a really cool mouse head.)
