As many members are aware we have a little thing around here called the Community Spotlight (CS). We get to know a little more about a member (or two) by way of a short interview. The CS has been a bit inconsistent over the past few months, but the staff is working hard to make sure it will be rolling out each month from here on out.

I figure I would address publicly a question that was asked by a few members via PM. The writing staff chose to let AJ do the CS last month and at the moment we will not be accepting member posted community spotlights. However if the writing staff ever fails to keep these things flowing and we miss a couple months feel free to take some initiative (like AJ did in November) and try to get us moving :) That being said, don't expect us to mess up too much!

As Xbox America is a community site, we have discussed getting the input of the community for this coveted interview. This is your chance to nominate someone to be the next person to be the star of the Community Spotlight! Here are the ground rules:

-First and foremost: you cannot nominate yourself
-You can only nominate one member per month
-You cannot nominate the same member two months in a row
-Nominated members must be active members of the site
-You must give a valid reason for the nomination
-ALL nominations must be Private Messaged (PMed)
-If you do not submit a complete nomination - it will be disregarded
-The title of the PM should be March CS Nomination
-At the moment there will be no award/badge for nominating members so don't ask!

Other than that, the only other things worth mentioning is that it will be up to the writer of the article whether or not to mention the member or members responsible for the nomination, and please do not expect us to confirm every nomination - if you sent the PM, we got it!

Just PM me, Minioger, and you can then hold your breath until March to see who will be the next featured member! This thread will be closed simply to prevent anyone from posting nominations instead of PMing them!

Disclaimer - Xbox America will not be responsible if you are ignorant enough to hold your breath until March - so don't do it!!
