COD advice

Ok, guys and gals. I have been putting it off b/c I didn't know if I would have the time it takes to put in to play COD 2 and COD 3 but they are only a like $10 to buy now. So, for those of you that have played or playing COD2 and COD3 tell me what I am getting myself into the good and the bad! I love the series and would love to add these 2 to my list but at what cost? I would like to 100% the series but there is so many great games coming out that I know I won't play these 24/7 but I will play them when I am in between waiting on the next gamefly shipment. Thanks in advance for the info!

well cod 2 is my favorite of all of the cod games with out a question. and if you're good at cod or you've beaten W@W on vet, you can 1k this game no problem. CoD3 isnt exactly the best of games, and it has online chievos i believe, and they are NOT easy to get i dont think. even with boosting

haven't played CoD3
but CoD2 on the other hand, is definitely worth it! probably the best WWII shooter i've played. beating the campaign on veteran is harder than CoD4 and MW2 combined, they're a real challenge. the multiplayer is pretty solid too, and yes, there are still quite a few devoted people still playing so it's not impossible to find games online. me and a group of friends are on frequently doing team deathmatches. the maps are very well designed. using a Kar98 to kill someone is a very satisfying feeling

The main point achievements on COD3 online take a longggg time to boost, and the veterans of each are hard in their own ways.

CoD2 it not that hard to beat it on Veteran if you good. You can get 1k in week.
CoD3 will taken while to beat it. MP achievement will need group of boostin.
My pick will be CoD2.

CoD2 not hard on Veteran??!.... hah, if only -_-'
i never knew that Hitler secretly trained psychic soldiers during WWII until i played CoD2 on Veteran. they can see through walls, start shooting at you before you even turn the corner, and once even your finger turns said corner, instant dead.
they're so psychic that i once was surrounded by grenades to my back, left, AND right so i had to run forward into the open and was turned into swiss cheese in 0.2 seconds xD

I never had that much trouble on vet for CoD2. Out of all the CoD games #2 is the easiest.
FALSE
i find this the second hardest, Gradates at War is the only one harder. MW2 was extremely easy and MW1 wasnt that difficult. Mile high club and maybe NFWR were the only harder levels in that game

my at the time 5 year old brother had beaten most of the last mission on vet by simply walking straight and barely shooting... so that might mean something there

Get COD2.
And to add my 2 cents to the opinion pile...Hardest - Easiest
COD3 > COD2 > WAW > MW1 > MW2
Both the Modern Warfare's are about equal, but just because of NFITWR and OSOK i think MW1 was harder.

are you sure he was playing on veteran and not recruit? LOL
but no, to say CoD2 on veteran is easy, you are either a god at FPS or you're very very lucky when you get shot. because 2 hits from ANYTHING = death.
saying it was average is passable, but i still think that's an understatement....
