I saw this earlier.
Very sad indeed.
And what is worse, he was actually trying to turn his life around in a positive way.
I hate that he jumped in the back of that truck. I'm sure he was just in the heat of the moment, but that was a mistake that cost him his life. I feel for his family. I've already seen some dumb comments on this. People saying it doesn't surprise them, he got what he deserved, ect....But no one deserves to die that young.

Wow, I just read in the paper this morning that he was in critical condition after falling out of the back of the truck. Now he is dead. A sad day indeed.
Anyone know the exactly what injuries he had from falling from the truck? I would assume some kind of internal bleeding and such.

So true. If it was their family, the tears would fall. But just because he ws in a little trouble throughout his life, they act like he doesn't deserve some respect.
And idk what the injuries were. They say they don't have a cause of death yet.
But he was on life support this morning.
From Story
"The medical examiner investigator Carol Cormier said they were expecting to receive the body later Thursday."
So I guess we'll know more later today.

First Sean Taylor (whom I knew) and now Chris Henry....
It really sucks seeing these young (at times troubled) men just starting to get their lives back on track, only for them to be ended prematurely. Let's hope his family can stay strong and get through what will surely be a difficult holiday season.

That's who came to mind first when I heard too. Sean Taylor.
Talented guy. Was sad to see him go. And Steve McNair.

Yeah, Steve McNair's death hit me pretty hard. I grew up watching and idolizing how he played at Alcorn St. I remember him coming up short in the Heisman voting to the NFL's biggest bust ever, Kijana Carter, I remember the Super Bowl game where they came up just 1 yard short. But mostly I remember a competitor who NEVER complained, never put himself above the team and always went out there regardless of how hurt he was. A true football player and a great person, in my opinion.

Yeah, I loved watching McNair play. His death just came out of nowhere, and was hard to believe. Just like Taylor and Henry. Hate to see such talented guys lose their lives.
And yeah, they'll always be remembered.
