Call Of Duty VS. Battlefield

Wich game do you think will be the most popular series in about 2 years?

I think battlefield will, reason being call of duty has made the same game since number 4. Battlefield is catching up. Battlefield 3 is going to give whatever the next call of duty for this winter a run for its money.

I would say Battlefield because Activision is slowly ruining the CoD franchise while Battlefield (already a good series) seems to be getting better with each installment. I honestly wish it was the other way around because CoD 2 was my first 360 game & my first online game but rushing production of games as well as some other bad decisions are turning CoD's into a joke.

I love Battlefield man...it has its flaws like not being about to play death match by yourself and.......thats all I can think of lol

i can't play COD for to long without getting bored but I can play battlefield for hours without getting bored

I love battlefield. I can play it for hours and not get bored with it. Which is why I am currently a level 47, almost a 48. You can tell by my stats, which are in my sig, that I play a lot.

I have lost interest in the CoD series. I give each game a chance thinking it will be better than the last and they always let me down.

Both are getting worse play the first Bad Company its so much better than the second one was. Call of Duty is just turning into Guitar hero filling shelves at stores with its over production every year.

Yeah this... sort of. I love the BF games, and I always say they are better. But they just dont have that evil magic like CoD that keeps me coming back daily. But hopefully BF3 solves that.

Modern Warfare 2 was the start of the down fall. While it was good, they just didnt maintain it. But they had that whole lawsuit thing going on so you cant blame em (sort of).

Black Ops tried so hard to make the most balanced Call of Duty, and they did, but in doing so.. they slowed the game down way too much. The reason why people love the CoD's, is because the formula is just perfect. Its fast paced, and noobs can get instant success. Where as in BF, you have to give it time. Driving CoD into the ground will make BF better, because i think it already is lol. But CoD killing itself will give people little choice... and BF is the next best thing.

But as far as the Call of Duty killer.... BF will fail. Because they dont make that formula like Call of Duty. But with those guys who created Infinity Ward (and CoD), those guys have their own company now... So when you think about it, the only people who can kill Call of Duty with a new game, are the people who made Call of Duty to begin with.

I love Battlefield infinitely more than the boring rehashed CoD series, everyone HATES Activision too and the fact that they keep closing down good studios they aquire (Bizarre) makes me hate them and Kotick's ugly ass mug/jew fro even more :laugh:

I like both because they're both good for their own reasons. Lately I've been playing a ton of BF, but it doesn't mean I'm going to throw away my CODs. Whee!

Auctally the people who made the call of duty series killed the call of duty series. all cods were good untill modernfailure 2. call of duty 4 was best.

call of duty> call of duty 2 > call of duty 3 < call of duty 4 > modernwarfare 2< black ops
