What sucks is that Microsoft is constantly patching and fixing hardware/software exploits. So, I wouldn't even attempt it.Because if they happen to pick up on mods or software they ban your Live account and sue your ass.

I wont go into exact details but there is actually a hack where u can mod the firmware/disc tray(depending on dvd burner and disc tray u have) to play the burnt games.

Another disadvantage to modding the firmware is that in recent xbox updates, MS has set it to look for DVD drives with the hacked firmware and caused it to brick your console. It's really not worth it right now, unless you want to buy a separate 360 that you will play offline, and that's just too much work/money.

I agree there are to many disadvantages to burning 360 games. The hell with that I play online to much and having to get another 360 wouldnt be worth it because I will still need to get custom firmware for the dvd burner. Screw that. Thanks for the help guys......At least my DVD burning is going smooth......hahahaha Hektic ur the man

no m$ does not look for firmware hacks.
the people who have had thier mac addresses banned have had this happen for using mod chips.
the firmware out there as of now is way stealth and sends back your originall firm ware details so its all good i knopw many of people who own only burt games "back ups of games they allready own"
