Anywhere else, it's congestion. And it's hard to IGNORE repeat threads when people get pissed no one is commenting on them and keep bumping them to the top.
I'm happy to welcome INTELLIGENT people who know how to post correctly, because that's what the site USED TO BE. Now it's just kindergarten, and anyone who tries to request order gets attacked by a bunch of people who think it's easier to do things incorrectly than to learn internet etiquette.
As far as MODS, it's your duty to patrol this. Hockeypuck consistently closed repeat threads. THAT'S why we have the "I broke..." and "just completed" still going strong, because he kept closing threads of that kind until people got the hint.
With all the new people coming in, it's important to USE the search feature- if every carebear is making 5 of the same threads, it's getting too crowded too fast. The problem USED to resolve itself.
Couldn't have been said better by anyone else.
