I think Blazblue Continuum Shift is an awesome game. Achieves are not easy, but oh well. the Game is fun, has a great story, and plays very tightly. I like how the mechanics are fluent and not a mess like a lot fighters.
I highly recommend it!

i'll try not to be biased even though i'm in love with the game.... -__-
if you enjoy fighting games, then you MAY like it. if you enjoy 2D fighting games, then you'll like it. if you enjoy 2D fighting games that has a LOT of anime feel to it, then you'll love it.
the game is very balanced and fun to play, most characters are easy to pick up to play casually yet hard to master if you plan on being tournament level. the music is great, mainly rock with a handful of j-pop songs for the theme song. controls are really solid, but the in depth game mechanics will take a little bit of practicing to fully understand. the story on the other hand, WILL confuse you unless you pay close attention to every exact detail, even then you may still be left out of the loop.
highly suggest it to 2D fighter fans or anime fans. fans of casual fighters should rent it to see if it fits their standards. the game isn't for everyone, it has a smaller following than most mainstream fighters like Street Fighter, Tekken, or MvC. you won't find many casuals out there, and the people who really do like the game will probably mop the floor with you unless you can put some time into learning a character or two of your own.

Dont forget, if you really suck at this game, they do have a beginner mode, for you to be able to pick up on what the character can do, and so you don't get totally smashed online...although you probably will
I really wish you could use the Unlimited characters in all modes instead of like 2 modes that have no relevance to any fun or wanting to actually use them in.

lol have you seen what Unlimited Hazama can do??! i'm GLAD they limit where you can use Unlimited characters. the majority of them are essentially broken and are just there to mess around with and to make you go crazy when the AI uses them against you
