VIP Map Pack 2:
Arica Harbor Conquest mode - US Command launches a break through action directly at the Russian base. Collateral damage is of no consequence. Capture and secure tactical positions in Conquest Mode across the vast Arica Harbor map.

Laguna Presa Rush mode - The valley and surrounding mountains possess a strategic value in the battle for South America, and an infantry assault supported by light armor vehicles is likely by both armies as US forces defend the nearby Dam.

Would you like to pay for MW2 “mapathy” while getting BFBC2 for free. If I've had enough of paid DLC maps *cough*MW2*cough*

Not sure why everyone tries to compare these two games to each other. It's like saying both Forza III and Burnout are just racing games.
MW2 and BF:BC2 are nothing alike at all. As for DLC maps go MW2's are way over due but I know it will be worth the wait.
BF's on the other hand is coming out less than a month after the game was released. So why were they not already in the game to begin with.
Looks to me like a case of where they were holding back finished maps from the release so that they could throw down some DLC at a moments notice for when MW2 set a date.
Not sure how I feel about that. My first thought is Cool new maps, but then again the game is so new that even the current maps aren't old and a lot of people haven't even got the game yet.
Also hearing a lot of complaints about how hard BF:BC2 is to play starting out. I know of two people that have already traded it in. My advice is to start out with Recon class first. Not only to just learn the maps but to just be able to stay alive for more than 10 seconds. Build your rank up a bit and unlock a few key items and things get a whole lot easier from there.
Remember BF:BC2 is NOT MW2, it's NOT an equal playing field when you start. You got to earn your stripes in this game.
MW2 is pretty much pick up and play for just about anybody, but BF:BC2 will seperate the Men from the Boys real quick. Hope to see some of you on sometime soon, Hit me up!!!

i agree ( with going out and earning your stripes), bf:bc2 is a much better game all around in my opinion, have had this game for a week now and still haven't played single player. Can't wait for the new maps.

the maps are free, so it's not like they are holding back product to make money.
they are just pacing content to liven up the game.

the doctor pepper DLC is free and comes with cheevos and extra pins and insignias!

I believe it said free IF you had a VIP code entered witch is a one time use code. For anyone buying this game used they will have to Pay for the maps or find an unused VIP card.
That's how they are going to get ya. Other company's are doing things like this to crack down on used game sales. Was just reading about this in the April issue of Game Informer.

i dont care if i had to pay for the DLC, i would get it. BF BC 2 is a amazing game and the online is great. CoD was good, but i find BF BC2 a step up. Im a big fan of team work based multiplayer and they developed it to perfection.

I wish I owned BFBC2. I mean I suck at it, but I do like it a ton better than MW2.

Also, I still have about 7 VIP codes just sitting here...
