I tried to jump onto it from everywhere, and still can't get up on it. You cant run up wall and get on it.

After sequence 6 i think, your done training with the girl and see illusions and your in Acre, playing as Altair or something. And chase somebody up a castle, and i get up halfway, then can't get on the wooden post.

The jumping part there gave me fits too. You have to jump up on that post that you are talking about. I think it took me about 15 minutes of just trying over and over again. It is a pain!

That particular part of the game can be a real pain, but it IS a really cool sequence of the game.
That being said, I had the same problem that the game has done to me before, just simply look up and try to hang off of an eagle post, and then he should jump on a ring on top of it.
