Too many people will sign up and not show up, just like all of those people who make events and never are actually playing the game on the date and time it's set, why even make it? We did XBA night and that worked out when it was still going on but it's a little complicated with someone keeping up score if you have more than one room open the same night and most games don't hold more than 8 people unless it's a FPS and just FPS gets boring after while, but if you set it up I'm sure some people will join.

Idk about the GOW1 because i had just joined that site when it finished. But the Halo 3 had over 30+ people. But when i say major tournaments i mean the Mods hosted it
