A little late, but for those of you who weren't aware, this week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week sees the Ninja Gaiden 2 Mission Mode Pack getting the cut. Normally running players 800 points, prospective buyers can gain a 33% savings, picking it up for 560 points. This deal is for one week only, so if you're interested, grab it before its gone.

I really liked Ninja Gaiden, until I got stuck at the end. I kind of lost interest after that :growl: Anyways, if you're up for a challenge I remember hearing the mission mode was just as challenging as the normal game. It does, however, reward you with 250 additional achievement points to be had for your frustration. The description of the content reads

... a brand-new gameplay expansion for the acclaimed action game Ninja Gaiden II. In this all new game mode, challenge your skills in self-contained missions featuring trials and tribulations not found in the standard story mode. Karma Attack missions task you with obtaining the highest score, while Survival missions give you a single weapon to fight off as many enemies as possible. Take your high scores online with Xbox LIVE and compete with players around the world on the mission leaderboards!

I really need to pick up some points. In my current financial situation, however, I can't really warrant this purchase. Because I'll need to buy points, then I'll need a new controller to prepare for breaking my other : |
