Wireless Headset interference
11/18/07 12:25 pm | #1
Anyone else have trouble with interference with their wireless headset? Even if everything is perfectly silent, sometimes I'll see the speaker on like it's transmitting my voice but there's no noise in the room. Other people complain telling me to turn off my mic. When I turn it off and then on it goes back to normal. This happens way too often now. Is it interference between other wireless devices in the area?

Sometime mine cuts out but not usually and then it comes right back, and it could be all the electronic devices, I don't know.
I love my wireless mic.

um what devices do you have around your house bluetooth might mess it up or even like an ipod charger they make an audible sound anyway so it may be interference it may be that your mic may have broken internally and a piece rubs the mic enough to make noise and turning it off will move that piece just enough so w/e you think

I have a couple of bluetooth mouses, and wireless remotes in the same room. Also, my cell phone uses bluetooth to connect to my Mac. I guess it could be any of these.

most likely i work for staples as an easy tech, and i found out that wireless routers and just about everything else pretty much runs on the same frequency, cordless phones that run on 2.4ghz, 3.8ghz, or 6.4ghz tend to enterfere. do u have a wireless router by chance? if so that could be doing the interfernece i changed mine to channel 11 and that worked. i have a wireless mic and now the only thing that interferes is my ceiling fans.
