I'd like to somehow split the HD output of my 360 into another HD output and then another either S-Video or RCA. This way I could watch on the TV in HD, but then record at the same time. Is there anyway this could be accomplished? I'd like to do it as cheaply as possible.

Video Split and Conversion

I have an eye tv 250 plus. It's a combination of hardware and software that acts as a capture card and as a programming guide / dvr sort of thing for cable tv. It has inputs for a cable line, S-Video and RCA. I can get it to play and record video from my 360, but even in game mode there's a major lag between what's going on and what I'm seeing.

Do you think if I went down to RadioShack the employees would be knowledgeable enough to help me figure this out? I've consulted a few related forums but haven't gotten any responses.
