Using the posting options

I'm new to using posting options such as adding images and quotes and the like. Can anyone set me up with a link to something helpful or maybe offer some incite?

Right now I'm trying to add images to an article in the works.

I have been doing alot of guess work with it and figured some things out. A guide or somethig like it would help.

Usually If I want to add images to a post I am making I will first save the image to my computer, and then upload the image to This site.

After having done that I wll simply copy&paste the link to the image in the post. Photobucket simplifies this by giving you all the possible links you would need.
