Tough final bosses

Hey:
I got finished Gears of War this weekend. And I gotta say that General Raam was one of the toughest final bosses I've faced in a long time. I came really close to going online to see how to do it ... which most times is heresy in my books.
I think the only other comparible final boss in difficulty that I can remember in recent years was Jecht was in Final Fantasy X.
Any other final bosses out there that made you almost snap a controller in two?

Raam is easier the more times you beat him. By the time I beat it on insane, I had it down to a science! It also helps to do it co-op!
The final boss on puzzle quest had me pissed off for awhile, but it was so satisfying when I finally beat him that it was totally worth it! I think I was just too low of a level!
And all though it wasn't a boss, the driving part at the end of Halo 1 made me spike my controller! lol

i didnt think general raam was that hard.as far as other boss fights the last boss in devil may cry 4 was good. it really wasnt hard but really fun.

well, they arent exactly "bosses" but TTFATF Expert and MHC Veteran really irk me because i cant do either (well, i suck at gh3 in general, but still) lol

Oh Come on, the driving part wasn't that bad....lol....I feel you on spiking the controller though, on the MHC I spiked my controller so much I had to buy a new one...lol..that, and I obliterated my surround sound controller too...LOL
I'll agree with the General Raam comment though, the first time I played him I kept getting wacked by those freaking bats, irritated me so much I stuck it back on the shelf and I finally beated it a couple months ago...now im just waiting to get my NAT strait so we can run through on co-op

I suck at all those music games too zombie, don't feel bad...but it never keeps me from buying them, LOL

Yeah, it took me about an hour to Raam. I just kept dying.
When I finally did, it was totally cheesy. After I ran out of torque bow shots, I got to this horizontal wall in the middle of the train and kept blind tossing grenades and blind firing. And whenever Raam came around the other side of the wall, I just hopped over.

I gave up on the final boss in the original MechAssault. It's the only boss that I just couldn't get past. Since it's been years, I guess I will always carry that defeat with me.

Oh I have one for myself ... I just remembered that I never got past the last surgery in Trauma Center: Second Opinion for the Wii. I got to this part of the surgery where my hand was shaking I was so nervous. I never came that close again and just called it quits.

yea he is quite tough if you dont know what your doing...
but there are other bosses out there, that are wayy harder then Ramm
trust me..lol
