I know some of you own or play this game.. I noticed Chachster's signature. How is it? I've played The Godfather on original xbox at a friends before, and I really liked the game. Is it different at all?

I heard it's very similar. EGM said that if you own the Xbox's version, don't even bother with this because it's so similar. I liked it.

I'm hooked to this game. However, the doncard for my sig doesn't get updated as I can never get connected to the EA servers to upload my stats. They would rather keep filling their pocketbooks from cheats to sell on marketplace rather than ensuring their systems are available and the content they produce is top notch.

I played it for like an hour and decided to just buy it soon because it's a very time consuming game and I'm worried about getting all these other games played.

You just need to settle down ok. You have enough gamerpoints to buy you a corvette.

I'm thinking I might indulge and buy myself it.. Only problem is I'm planning on buying Rainbow Six too and I usually only buy a game every few months now. I've been really frugal lately ever since I bought one of the new 80gig ipods, which I guess is a good thing.

Yes, EA's Godfather the Game is a very addictive title. You start out on the low end rank of the Corleone family. You have to convince shop owners to give you a share of their profit, extort operations, hijack trucks, blow up compounds, and much more. This is definitely a game that is worth its price as it isn't completed in a couple of hours. I have over 25 hours in the game right now and am working on taking over compounds of the other families that control their towns.

i was surprised at how many other things there were to take over. Like at first, Saints Row seemed to have alot of parts of the city to take over, but before you know it its done. But in Godfather, theres just soo much more, shops and compounds. Its crazy fun

Yea what I dont like is how I paid the same price for my 40GB with no pictures or video awhile back. The 80GB has basically the same dimensions with video and everything but whatever it holds 10k songs and the rest is hard drive space for me.
