It does look pretty good, but it's not a RTS, it's a turn based strategy, which I personally prefer to RTSs! I don't think I will get this because I have too much on my plate right now. If no games were coming out I might buy it.

Game releases on the 8th. Just reserved it at Game Crazy ^^ Definitely try out the demo if you are even slightly interested in the game, I was worried the controls might be complex or gameplay boring but it's rather fun and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this game.

I absolutely LOVE the Civilization series. I own them all for the PC. Good stuff. I even tried the demo on both the 360 and PS3. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around strategy games on consoles, but I'm happy to know that Games for Windows and Xbox 360 users can play this game on a somewhat even playing field. Your choice... can't wait to play!

Another cool thing about this game.. it has a lot of weird point achievements. Like 3 point achievements. Finally I can get my GS back on an even number.

Ha ha I'm contemplating getting my GS to end in a 5 or 0 and then stopping playing games that have odd achievements like that.
